5 July Celebrations To Check Out In Reno, Nevada

With July right around the corner, it’s time to plan all of the celebrations and activities you want to attend this coming month. There are so many great options in Nevada, but what about when you’re looking for the perfect July celebrations. But when you’re in a rush to choose, sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. So today, we’ve gathered a few of our favorites to help you choose your next stop for this weekend adventure.

1) 4th on Fourth Parade

A must visit during the July celebrations is the 4th of July Parade in Reno. The theme this year being “America 250: The 4th on Fourth,” where it will showcase all the amazing things revolving around the city and the country. And if you get there early, stop in for the Pancake breakfast fundraiser at Gold ‘N Silver Inn from 7am to 10am.

2) America 250 at Greater Nevada Field

The Aces are celebrating the national birthday with a great show you don’t want to miss out on. With pregame activities, a California Collegiate League All-Star game, and the biggest fireworks show of the year.

3) Red, White, and Flight

This uplifting event to celebrate the 250th birthday of the nation, will be a must-see highlight of the month. The event will light up the sky with an awe-inspiring drone show, as well as have a live performance from Reno Phil. Plus there’s an interactive expo for all ages.

4) Dancing on the River

In just two years, Dancing on the River has become a tradition that you don’t want to miss out on. Transforming downtown Reno into a vibrant celebration that includes, music, culture, and connection. Here you can enjoy time with your friends and family as you dance and check out local vendors.

5) Star Spangled Sparks

For twenty years, Star Spangled Sparks has been a large part of the community’s yearly July celebrations. And this year is promised to be just as spectacular as those of the years before. The All-American style block party spans throughout the downtown Sparks corridor on Victorian Square. Where you’ll find live music, crafts, food vendors, and of course, the star of the show, fireworks.
